J. Gordon & Company, based in Annapolis, is now the U.S. importer of the D-400 wind generator, said to be one of the quietest wind generators on the market.
It has a powerful three-phase alternator and computer-designed rotor blazed designed for low speed. Generators and parts are available at the marine systems store located in Annapolis’ Eastport neighborhood. The D-400 ranges in price from $2,295 for the 12 volt, and $2,395 for the 24 volt.

J. Gordon is also the new mid-Atlantic distributor for Spectra watermakers. Spectra is a division of Katadyn products, and its watermakers are quiet and energy-efficient. Available models include hand-held, manual, and fully automatic, both for land and sea. J. Gordon will install or repair the watermakers, and will have parts available.
