Every summer, the picturesque Waterside Pavilion at the Calvert Marine Museum becomes the heart of Southern Maryland’s music scene, offering unforgettable performances set against the stunning backdrop of Solomons. Since 1985, the Waterside Music Series has brought people together to create lasting memories, all while supporting the museum’s mission to share the unique story of the Chesapeake Bay—from ancient fossils to playful otters, and everything maritime!
This summer, we’re thrilled to announce two exciting performances to kick off the season. On May 24, multi-platinum country artist Jordan Davis will take the stage, bringing his hit songs like “Buy Dirt” and “Next Thing You Know.” Then, on July 10, Darius Rucker, the three-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist will bring his timeless country anthems like “Wagon Wheel” to the stage.
With more to come, these concerts are just the beginning of an unforgettable summer season! The Waterside Music Series has become a beloved tradition, not only for its incredible performances but also for its role in supporting the museum’s mission of preserving the history and heritage of the Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the series, these concerts are a chance to enjoy great music while supporting a vital part of our community.
Editor’s note: We at CBM are big fans of the Waterside Music Series. You won’t find a more intimate, laidback venue on the water to see big-name acts!
