CBM Cruising Editor and ICW guru Jody Argo Schroath is back at the helm of this comprehensive guide, which is designed to be “Your Intracoastal Waterway Cruising Companion”. With the rise of remote work and flexible workplaces in recent years, longer cruises are attainable for a larger number of boaters than ever before.
Our exhaustive guide—considered the gold standard of Intracoastal Waterway planning—takes boaters literally mile by mile through the ICW. We give you photos of every bridge you’ll encounter, trouble spots, hidden gems, suggestions for side trips and restaurants, and the apps you’ll need to get the best information on navigation, tides, weather and safety.
Traveling the ICW is still just as alluring now to cruisers looking for an escape as it was when we released our last guide edition in 2019, but some things along the waterway have changed since then that you’ll need to know about. Schroath updates the ICW Mile-by-Mile Guide for seasoned cruisers and ICW rookies alike.
Published by the staff of Chesapeake Bay Magazine, the new edition will be produced in a single press run of just 500 copies.
