Clarks Landing Yacht Sales Adds New Demo Days

Clarks Landing Yacht Sales held its annual “Demo Days” event last weekend in Shady Side, and it generated so much activity that the powerboat dealer just announced it’s added another Demo Days for this Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28.

Fresh off of a successful United States Powerboat Show in Annapolis, Clarks Landing will extend its boat show deals on Sea Rays Sport Yachts and Yachts and Beneteau Powerboats for the weekend. Vice President Michael Longhi says the company sold seven boats at the Annapolis show, including three Gran Turismo Beneteau sport powerboats.

Longhi says that Beneteau sales, especially trawlers, have had a notable increase over the last three to four months. As for Sea Ray, the boatbuilder is zeroing in on powerboats from 18 to 40 feet, and some models are sold out until next summer.

Clarks Landing is the self-proclaimed #1 dealer in the Mid-Atlantic of new and pre-owned boats. They’ve been ranked the third largest Sea Ray dealer in North America.

The Demo Days event at the Clarks Landing location on Parish Creek will have yachts in the water ready for test rides, along with light refreshments, giveaways, and drinks.

Clarks Landing has recently seen a major shakeup in management: owner George Truesdale is now General Manager of its Maryland locations, and it’s also added a new General Sales Manager, Customer Service Consultant, and Service Foreman. The company has six locations altogether: Shady Side, Kent Island, and Havre de Grace on the Chesapeake, as well as one on the Delaware River and one on the Jersey Shore.
