Even though Everglades Boats describes the 273 CC as a “fierce fishing machine,” the company doesn’t cut corners on comfort. Cushioned seats at the bow, a dual-armchair seat in the front of the console, an ergonomic helm that converts from bolsters to elevated seats, and a triple-wide bench at the transom (arguably the most comfortable seats on the boat) all ensure passenger comfort whether on a run to the canyons or a sunset cruise up a scenic river. Combine these amenities with the wide range of meticulously engineered features—from the nearly indestructible foam-filled hull and hydraulically articulated safety-glass windshield to integrated hardtop with life jacket stowage. Add massive, strategically placed storage, a tackle station in the cockpit, and, oh, yes, a commodious head in the console. Like her Everglades sisters, the 273 CC is a civilized lady that can still handle the gnarly conditions for which Yankee waters are known. Base price with twin F200 Yamaha outboards is $185,000.
