Now it really feels like spring: the first of the season’s outdoor boat shows on the Bay gets underway Friday.
The Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show is at City Dock from Friday, April 20 through Sunday, April 22. Visitors can check out new and used sailboats, enjoy live entertainment and drink tastings, and beginner sailing lessons.

We’ll have free seminars with cruising guru Jody Argo Schroath on navigating the Intracoastal Waterway, and with CBM co-owner John Stefancik on Chesapeake Bay cruising. The Sailboat Show also runs at the same time as Cruisers University, running April 19 to 22 at the U.S. Naval Academy. It’s a cruising educational program with one-to-four-day options covering “cruising destinations, boat systems, and all things related to the cruising lifestyle.” Cruising experts teach a total of more than 40 unique courses.
