NauticStar’s 2102 Legacy is a family-oriented center-console that offers bow seating with cushions and an integrated aft bench seat for three with a walk-through transom door to a platform with swim ladder. A removable ski tower is optional.  The aft bench seat covers the battery compartment, an insulated drink cooler and cast net storage. The console, placed over the deepest part of the hull, offers room for a portable toilet, with ventilation and LED lighting. Amazingly, the 2102 Legacy prices out below $50,000 with two baitwells, four fishboxes, a stainless-steel propeller for the Yamaha F150, stainless pull-up cleats, ingenious flip-out backrests for the bow seats, a two-speaker stereo, trim tabs, a leaning post with flip-up bolsters, a canvas T-Top, dual batteries with switch, a ski tower and a tandem-axle aluminum trailer. According to a Yamaha performance report, the F150 is an excellent match, providing efficient cruise in the mid-20s and a top speed approaching 40 knots, running light. The hand-laid hull’s one-piece fiberglass stringer grid is foam-filled, and the outer layer of the hull is bonded with vinylester resin. NauticStar is confident enough to offer a limited lifetime hull warranty. The company is a member of the National Marine Manufacturers (NMMA), so all of its boat systems are built according to the standards of the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC). Beach picnics, tow sports and fishing—the 2012 Legacy is ready for all of it.
