Halloween is a time when history meets legend, with stories of ghosts and spirits. And the Chesapeake Bay is rich with such stories, from haunted lighthouses to the “ghost fleet” of Bay pirates.
Author Andy Nunez has written four books about the lore of the Eastern Shore, including the spooky title, Ghosts of the Eastern Shore.
This Friday, October 27, Nunez will be at the Heritage Museums and Gardens of Dorchester to entertain with stories of pirate hoards and ghosts on the Shore.
The free public event starts at noon at the museum, located at 1003 Greenway Drive in Cambridge, Maryland. For more information, call 410.228.7953 or email [email protected].
Nunez has been publishing his work since 2005, and is also editor for the online military magazine Against the Odds. He’s an active member of the Writers Bloc of the Eastern Shore and lives in Salisbury.
