A beach bar, live bands on the beach, and sand soccer are a tough combination to find west of Ocean City, Maryland, but they’re all coming to Sandy Point State Park in a few weeks.
The food is, of course, the star at the 51st annual Maryland Seafood Festival on September 8 and 9, but festival organizers are capitalizing on its beachfront location for some added fun.
A beach bar will be sponsored by Backyard Billy’s, and a nearby beach stage will feature acoustic music.
On Saturday September 8, the beach will also host a youth sand soccer tournament, and on Sunday, September 9, professional sand soccer teams will entertain sports fans. To sign a team up for the youth tournament, click here.
