A racing sailboat and a charter fishing boat collided Friday, leaving the fishing boat balanced precariously on top of the sailboat. Despite the dramatic images, no one was seriously injured.

Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) say it happened around noon, off Tolly Point in Annapolis, and directly in line with Kentmorr Marina on Kent Island.

The 37-foot fishing boat Hunter is owned by Chesapeake Bay Charter Services of Kent Island, which is based at Kentmorr. The J/105 sailboat Levitation had sails up at the time of the crash.

The U.S. Coast Guard is leading the investigation into the collision.
