VIDEO: Baltimore Fireboat Travels by Highway to Home of New Exhibit

A piece of Baltimore maritime history is now in a place of pride—after languishing for years on the hard in a shipyard. It’s a familiar tale for old boats, but this one has a happy ending. The 1959 Baltimore City Fire Dept. fireboat known as the Tommy will become its own exhibit at the Fire Museum of Maryland. As Cheryl Costello shows us, moving it up the highway and into place was no small feat. Watch below:
