We’re all well aware of the impact Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has had on gas prices—and that extends to marine fuel. But in an even more direct impact of the situation overseas, a boat manufacturer and dealer is leaving the Bay region. BRIG Boats, which has a location in Annapolis, builds its inflatables in Ukraine. The company has been forced to cease production as Ukranian employees flee war-torn areas.
And as Cheryl Costello found out, BRIG is closing its Annapolis shop, after lack of inventory and the war formed a perfect storm. Watch below:
