It’s a happy ending for an old, no-longer-needed bridge. With the help of explosives, the Nice/Middleton Bridge is being removed from the horizon section by section. Concrete from the 1940 bridge will fulfill a new mission: artificial reef habitat for oysters, fish and other marine life.
