VIDEO: Canada Wildfires Hurt Bay Air Quality, Boating Visibility

A Code Red air quality alert is in effect for parts of the Bay region and visibility is worse than usual for boats in the Bay and ships at our ports. On Wednesday, the smell of smoke was noticeable in Chesapeake Bay neighborhoods. The smoky haze is a result of more than 400 wildfires burning in Quebec, Canada—raging fires that have forced thousands of people from their homes.
