You may remember Last Mango, Jimmy Buffett’s Caribbean-blue-hulled boat, on its cruise down the Chesapeake last summer. Buffett was in town to take in his favorite watersports and to shoot a music video.
Now, there’s another strong local tie for the laid-back entertainer. Buffett’s apparel brand Last Mango Boatworks, which raises money for charity, has chosen an Annapolis teen as a youth ambassador. Julianna Wasiuta is among just nine applicants chosen nationally for the new 12-month program. It’s dedicated to helping others to “See the Good Side,” as Last Mango puts it.
