It’s the kind of pure-panic moment that isn’t often caught on camera: A car crashes into the water at Tydings Park in Havre de Grace, trapping a driver inside his now-sinking vehicle.
When it happened on Sunday afternoon, the all-volunteer Susquehanna Hose Company just happened to be in the area, filming a mock dive rescue with a production crew. The Hose Company’s captain tells Cheryl Costello he was in exactly the right place at the right time. Watch below:
