The Susquehanna Flats are a beautiful part of the upper Chesapeake Bay, popular with hunters and anglers. But its unique shallows can come with dangerous consequences. Last month Bay Bulletin reported on a waterfowl hunter rescue that left the rescue crew stranded along with the hunters. Cheryl Costello went out on the flats with the helicopter crew that eventually hoisted all five to safety. Watch below:
