When two boats began burning at a Southeast Baltimore marina, firefighters kept the flames from spreading to dozens more boats that sat in close proximity. But when fire damage and water sunk the 46-foot trawler involved, a man and his dog became homeless. Worse yet, he had very little insurance on the boat.
Captain Bobby LaPin has been out at the scene daily since the fire, following the cleanup and salvage, and reports for Chesapeake Bay Magazine below:
