Paddlesports have been more popular than ever as the Bay region embraces the outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. People are exploring their own rivers and creeks from a new vantage point. But on the rapids of the Potomac River, kayaking is a white-knuckled adrenaline rush.
Now that the 2020 Olympics are postponed to 2021, some Olympians are honing their skills right here on the Potomac. Cheryl Costello catches up with one of these high-level athletes thanks to the Potomac Conservancy. Watch below:
