Storms in Ocean City, Maryland on Saturday caused heavy flooding that crippled the beach town’s main artery, Coastal Highway.
Ocean City Police warned citizens:
“We are experiencing significant flooding on our roadways, particularly Coastal Highway north of 94th Street. At this time the area is impassable and officers are working to close the roadway. Please avoid driving in north Ocean City until the storm passes and the waters recede.”
