Flooding is a known nuisance in downtown Annapolis and other Bay communities. Now, Stanford University researchers have put a price tag on the impact that nuisance flooding is having on Annapolis waterfront businesses. In 2017 alone, researchers say businesses lost out on somewhere between $86,000 and $172,000.
The city’s emergency managers have a $7 million solution they say will save the city almost $200 million in the long run. Cheryl Costello shows us how:
