It’s the inevitable next step after historically low juvenile striped bass numbers are reported: Fisheries managers are considering tightening catch limits even further and bringing widely varying regulations around the Bay in line with each other.
If the changes under consideration are put in place, the Bay’s popular rockfish charter industry will take a hit, as will individual anglers. Future trophy seasons are at stake.
