It may be one of the strongest yellow perch spawning seasons yet on the upper Magothy River. For the past five days, female perch have been congregating at Lake Waterford to release their eggs, with river advocates carefully tracking their progress. Yellow perch are a popular fish for Bay-region anglers to target, and a great sign of river health.
