Yacht Dealer Opens Marinas to "DIY-ers"

Clarks Landing Yacht Sales is opening up both of its Maryland marinas, on the West River and on Crab Alley Creek, to do-it-yourself customers.

Boat owners can store and work on their boats at Clarks Landing’s facilities, and so can outside vendors and subcontractors. The company is expanding its storage capabilities in time for this winter.

“Our properties are very large, a 13-acre and a 2.5-acre facility, with the ability to store hundreds of power and sailboats in a secured, fenced-in environment”, says George Truesdale, Clarks Landing General Manager.

Clarks Landing is the exclusive Mid-Atlantic dealer for Sea Ray and Beneteau powerboats from 18′ to 65′, in addition to the other powerboats and cruisers they sell. It’s not typical for a yacht broker to open its yards for storage and outside contractors.

If you want to store your boat at Clarks Landing, the two locations are at 1442 Ford Road in Shady Side, Maryland, about 20 minutes south of Annapolis, and on the Eastern Shore at 1804 Crab Alley Drive in Chester, Maryland. For more information, call (410) 867-9550 for Shady Side, or (410) 604-4300, Eastern Shore.
